I love gardens. When I started researching things to do in Nashville, TN, the gardens at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel rose to the top of my list!
I found this great blog article about how to visit like a local. It had great tips on where to park and how enter the hotel gardens. We parked the RV in the Opry Mills lot and walked right over to the hotel. There are three different indoor garden areas you can walk through with stores and restaurants along the way. The hotel room balconies overlook the gardens and stores – very cool views!
We must have spent at least three hours wandering around the hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to cruise on the riverboat as they were already full. It looked like a really fun thing to do though!
We walked right by the Grand Ole Opry to get to the hotel, so naturally we had to stop and check it out. Again, lack of planning so we couldn’t get a tour of the music hall.
I had hoped to get to downtown Nashville, but driving there and parking the RV would have been a nightmare. Maybe someday we’ll come back – see Luke Bryan at the Grand Ole Opry, stay at the Opryland Hotel and take a boat tour!
